This Privacy Policy explains how SheLoveShapeWear (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website. We are based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and handle personal data in line with Canada’s PIPEDA and Alberta’s PIPA, as well as the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA where they apply to you. By using the site, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account: your name, email address, and a securely hashed password.
• Orders: shipping/billing name, address, phone, email, and purchase history.
• Payment: processed securely by our payment providers (Stripe and, for crypto, NOWPayments). We never see or store your full card details.
• Usage: basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) used for security, fraud prevention, and improving the site.
• Communications: messages you send us and newsletter preferences.

How we use it

To process and deliver your orders, manage your account, provide support, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, and — only with your consent — send marketing emails you can unsubscribe from at any time.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the store — payment processors (Stripe, NOWPayments), our email provider (SendGrid), our AI provider (Anthropic, which powers our chat and WhatsApp assistant), Meta (WhatsApp messages, and the advertising pixel only if you accept it), our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure), and the suppliers and carriers who need your name and address to deliver your order — and where required by law. Most of them act only on our behalf. Stripe also uses payment data under its own privacy policy, for example to prevent fraud, and Meta uses advertising data under its own policy when you allow the pixel. We do not sell your personal information.

Where your data is processed

We are based in Canada. Some of the providers above store or process data outside Canada, mainly in the United States, and our suppliers may be in other countries. Data held there is protected by our agreements with them, but the laws of those countries may let their authorities access it.

AI assistants

If you message our WhatsApp number, an automated assistant (AI) replies and says so in its first message. It can answer product and sizing questions; orders, refunds and anything personal go to the owner, who replies in person.

Our site offers an optional AI chat assistant to answer questions about products, sizing, shipping, and returns. Messages you send to it are processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate a reply and are not used to train AI models. Please don’t share passwords or full payment details in chat. The assistant can occasionally be inaccurate; for account- or order-specific matters, please contact us directly.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your cart, language, and currency. If you press Accept on our cookie notice, we also use Meta's advertising pixel to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads: it tells Meta which pages you view, what you add to your cart and what you buy, and Meta processes that under its own privacy policy. It never loads if you decline or make no choice.

Your rights

You can access, correct, download, or delete your personal data at any time. Manage or delete your account and data here: My Account & Data. You may unsubscribe from marketing using the link in any email. Depending on your location (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA), you also have the right to object to processing and to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. We do not sell your personal information. If you allowed the Meta pixel, you can withdraw that at any time with “Change my cookie choice” above.

Data retention & security

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations (for example, order records are retained for tax and accounting). Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted with SSL, and access is restricted.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission, to create an account or buy.
